Refund Policy

We want every customer to feel that DraughtAI is worth the money they spent on it. This refund policy is straightforward and is enforced by Stripe on our behalf — you do not have to chase us to get a refund you are entitled to.

1. 7-day money-back guarantee

If you sign up for a paid subscription for the first time and it is not what you expected, email billing@mccallumdraughting.com within 7 calendar days of your first charge and we will refund the full amount you paid, with no questions asked. The refund is processed via Stripe to your original payment method, typically within 5 working days.

2. Pro-rata refund on unused months

If you cancel a multi-month or annual subscription part-way through the term, we refund the unused full months on a pro-rata basis. For example, on an annual £348 subscription cancelled after 4 full months, you would receive a refund of £348 × (8 / 12) = £232.

Partial months in which the service was used are not refunded.

3. Pay-as-you-go drawings

Unused PAYG credit is fully refundable on request within 30 days of purchase. Drawings that have been generated, downloaded or exported cannot be refunded.

4. Free trial

The 7-day free trial does not require a credit card and is never charged. There is therefore nothing to refund.

5. Failed or unsatisfactory generations

If a drawing fails to generate due to a service fault on our side, the credit / drawing is automatically returned to your account. You do not need to ask. Where output is unsatisfactory, you can re-run the job free for the first three regenerations.

6. How to request a refund

Email billing@mccallumdraughting.com with the email address on your account. We aim to action refunds within 2 UK working days. If we cannot grant a refund (for example because the request is outside the windows above), we will explain why in the same email.

7. Disputes & chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us before raising a chargeback. We resolve almost every billing dispute within 48 hours and a refund is faster than a chargeback. Chargebacks raised without first contacting us may result in account suspension while Stripe investigates.

8. Statutory rights

This policy is offered in addition to your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 where they apply. Nothing in this policy excludes those rights.
