Acceptable Use Policy
DraughtAI is a tool for technical drawing. It is not a creative platform, an image generator, an automated essay tool or a marketplace. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do with the service and is incorporated into our Terms of Service.
1. What you may do
- Generate technical drawings (architectural, structural, civil, MEP) from your own sketches, photographs and briefs.
- Use Output as a draft to be reviewed and signed off by a competent person before issue.
- Convert legacy drawings you legitimately hold rights to between standards or office templates.
- Use DraughtAI inside your own internal team — within your seat allocation.
2. What you must not do
2.1 Prohibited content (zero tolerance)
- Generating sexual or sexually-suggestive content of any kind.
- Generating images, models or likenesses of real people, including faces, deepfakes, or impersonations.
- Generating images, drawings or content depicting minors in any context other than building accessibility / safety drawings.
- Producing political imagery, propaganda, election-related material or coordinated inauthentic content.
- Producing content that promotes self-harm, suicide, eating disorders or violence.
- Producing content that incites hatred or discrimination based on protected characteristics under the UK Equality Act 2010.
- Producing weapon designs, explosive devices, or any "dual-use" content prohibited by UK export controls (Export Control Order 2008).
- Producing fake identification documents, currency, official seals, certificates or trade marks.
2.2 Prohibited conduct
- Uploading content you do not own or have permission to process. You must hold rights to all Customer Content.
- Reverse-engineering or scraping the service, or using it to build a competing product.
- Reselling Output or sub-licensing the service to third parties without a written agreement.
- Submitting personal data of third parties without a lawful basis (UK GDPR Art. 6).
- Using the service for academic submission where doing so breaches your institution's policies on AI assistance.
- Bypassing rate limits, security controls, authentication or watermarking.
- Sharing your account credentials beyond your purchased seat count.
- Any use that violates UK law or the laws of the country you operate from.
3. Out of scope (we will refuse the job)
DraughtAI is not built to produce, and the service will refuse to generate:
- Marketing imagery, advertising visuals, social-media graphics.
- Photorealistic renderings of people or settings.
- Concept art, fine art, illustrations or fantasy / sci-fi imagery.
- Text essays, reports, articles or research papers.
- Legal documents, contracts or pleadings.
- Medical, financial or legal advice in any form.
4. Reporting abuse
If you believe someone is using DraughtAI in a way that breaches this policy, please email abuse@mccallumdraughting.com with as much detail as you can share. Reports are reviewed within one UK business day.
5. Enforcement
We may, with or without notice, restrict access to specific features, suspend an account, terminate the contract, refund or refuse to refund pre-paid sums, retain content for evidential purposes, and report unlawful activity to UK or other competent authorities. Where the breach is unintentional and limited, our usual response is a private warning and an opportunity to correct conduct.
6. Updates
We will publish material updates to this AUP at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
